I have a '93 JZZ30 (1JZGTE non VVTi) It is stock aside from - FMIC, Boost gauge, 3inch turbo back exhaust.

Bought the car unreg, knew it idled around ok etc, but now it's on the road I'm discovering some fun issues.

It will, once warm, usually once you've done above about 50km in a trip throw codes 25/52 (AFR lean, front knock sensor)

I've reset the ecu, driven it some more, and every time, same thing. I'm suspecting a fuel system issue. Unsure if it's the actual pump or the Fuel pump ECU. Has anyone used a 2JZGTE JZA80 Fuel pump ecu in a JZZ30 with the stock engine/ecu? Are they plug and play? I'd rather use a later/newer model than an older unknown, but unsure if it will work, and my budget is already stretched trying to get this car running properly. I know the part numbers from the supra and soarer fuel pump ecus are different, just thought I'd ask if anyone had done this, did it work, are there any known differences etc.

Or if anyone can help me troubleshoot my current parts, that would also be great.
