throttle body options

Hi All,

I have installed an original 2tg fuel injection system into my TA22. However, at the tune we found the tech incompatible with the computer we are using, the original TPS is not a sensor but in fact a switch. We believe its making tuning hard as throttle is either on or off. Our solution is to update the throttle body and TPS to a sensor rather than a switch but we need to identify and locate if any out there, a throttle body with the same dimensions as the 2tg. Alternatively a TPS (sensor) that can be mounted in the 2tg throttle body.

We suspected the 4age throttle body would be close and it is, but not perfect and would still need a mounting bracket. Does anyone know of a throttle body with mounting points at:

(Both measurements are from center of screw to center of screw)
63mm from top bolt to top bolt
55mm from top bolt to bottom bolt

with a throttle body diameter for airflow at 55mm

You are right the stock 2TG is basically a switch not a TPS like the current ones.

You can gut the sensor case and install a new sensor. http://trigger-wheels.com/store/contents/en-uk/p26.html will work as I bought one and it fits insdie the case. You will need to secure the sensor inside the case to stop if from rotating though.

thank you Stidnam for the link i'll check that out, do you know if any other Toyota sensors are interchangeable? or did you just order the aftermarket option?
