    Default Wheels tyre setup RA28

    Hi Guys

Just wanted to see if anyone knows what tyre, coilovers and wheels are on this RA28?? I know this question has probably been asked heaps and sorry if this is the case. They look like rota RBXs or RBRs in polished silver around 17or 16 inches.....

I assume this set up would be illegal due to the wheels protruding outside wheel guards etc?? Yes/no?

If anyone has the info on her id love to know the set up OR I'd love to see or hear of the other sit-ups you guys have. Sorry if it's repeat thread.

    Thanks for all your help.

    Cheers

    Al

Your call, but to me I don't like the look of the rear tyre & rim set up, needs to be wider & not stretched tyres either but then it wont fit, I have seen some tough looking RA28's with big simmons rims on them & no stretched tyres either, with that current set up in the photo unless he is running some really sticky tyres that thing would let go very easily in the rear especially & without warning, tyres are not designed to be stretched like that & to my eyes it looks shit .. Good for drifting as they would break traction so easily, but that's about it ..

Stretched tyres are illegal & should be too, In this case the tyres don't protrude past the guards but the rims do & I think technically they look at the tyres not being allowed to protrude out side the guards but I think that was written before people started stretching tyres on big rims, either way I'm sure the cops would jump all over it if they saw it !!

I agree they are too big/too stretched
But they are performance superlights. 16x8/16x9 I would assume.
Illegal, yes, increase of track and wheels not under guards

it all boils down to wank factor , tyres are not designed to corner on the sidewalls why risk your life let alone some poor innocent bastard that cops a face full of out of control
car because the tyre blew , thank christ that scrutineers knock this bullshit on the head and wont let anyone compete with stretched tyres

Totally agree guys about this tyre and wheel setup. To be honest I like the rim choice but it's defiantly too large for the setup.

So any other takers on what rims they are performance super lights has been mentioned so far.

    Thanks guys for your input.
