    Default b&m shifter

I've just started doing a 1uzfe conversion into a hilux and I'm using the auto box. Can anyone tell me if the b&m race shifters can be used on the lexus auto? I can't see why not, but can't find any info Just the normal Ford/Holden/Chevrolet scenarios.

    Hey outlaw-cts,

You can use a B&M shifter on a 1UZ with an A341E in a Hilux. I did it

Actually, mine was a B&M copy, called a TCI "Outlaw" funnily enough. It was a pistol grip shifter. Not a ratchet shifter, but they both would work. You just need to do a tiny bit of maths to figure out the length (actually radius) of the selector arm on the side of the transmission, based on the total cable pull of the shifter and the total angle the transmission's selector arm rotates through. Let me know if you need any more specific info.

I've since sold the Hilux and bought an RA28, so I can't take any better photos of the selector arm setup, sorry.
