As for your comment Lawson - of course not... What would make you think that?! Oh... You weren't at Transport on Sunday night, were you???

It sounds like a great idea... would be interesting to see if it goes any further cause we all know us hachi owners are rather poor. While I am selling my AE86 this idea sounds fantastic and i will defently enter in the future when i get a new ae86, but perhaps to keep costs down for entrants, we should look at other cult cars other than ae86's??? I hate to be the devils advocate but I think it will be hard to get enough ae86 owners to each event to keep it running...

You could always let other cars compete just not for outright honours on the day just to fill numbers. Ppl will enter just to have fun and you could always offer an award for most outstanding achievement open to all classes ie someone who achieves amzing results from on paper a rather unimpressive car.

hmmmm what bout oran park all these tracks are far south,i think one track event would prob be enough to start with just to see how many ppl are interested.then take it from there.

    cheers pete

P.S evan the challange will be on if this goes ahead

even if your car isnt competitive its a great day to come and drive on a track
it wont be crazy expensive or it wont work

dont worry we will work it out!

Absolutely. Hiring a track aint all that expensive if we get enough cars. If we get some kind of sponshorship happening, then it will be even easier!
