Adding cruise control to a GX81

Can anyone with gx81 experience tell me if I can add cruise control to a gx81 using aussie mx83 bits? I know that mx73s and mx83s have all the nessesary wiring in place whether or not they have it optioned meaning that you can just plug in the cruise ecu, actuator, column switches etc and it will work. But can anyone confirm that mx bits will work in a gx?

Which model do you have as some GX81 options came with cruise control so as you say, the wiring might already be in place.

I have a ton of photos from my car (GX81 with factory fitted cruise) and a copy of the EWD so happy to share to help you identify the bits you have and see if the MX83 would be compatible.

hmm im interested in this, as i just got a gx81 chaser and i like my factory cruise control in my mx83 (that even works with the manual 1jz and i have wired it to cancel with the clutch pedal)

Ha ha, I don't own one, was just looking at one for sale that cresslux may have since bought???
Was entertaining the idea of buying it, but I'm really holding out for an MX73/GX71 with factory cruise control.

the one i bought came from bunbury. has a mark ii front end but i am changing it to jzx81 chaser front end.

had a 1jz in it at 1 point but i bought it as a registered rolling shell. as far as i know Wildsupra did the conversion and put some huge body kit on it.
