I have a 1992 2RZ Toyota Hiace van. The brake load proportioning valve on the rear is just starting to weep some fluid. Apparently it is the same as that fitted to the LANDCRUISER , HI-LUX , SURF & 4 RUNNER.
Has anyone replaced the rubber seals in one of these and does anyone know where to buy the seals? The valve can be easily pulled apart and I have done this on another brand of vehicle. There is normally only a flat rubber washer and piston seal.
Ebay price for a new chinese valve is about $140 from an Australian supplier and $98 direct from china. However, I found a chinese advert that offers the valve for between $7 to $14 for a minimum order of 100 units. I'm a bit reluctant to send $98 to china as normally I limit myself to about $20 because on a few ocassions I didn't receive the item.
Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
im pretty sure you're talking about a 210R0006? if so they dont make kits for the stock unit, either get another second hand one or payup![]()
