I feel sure that this info is common knowledge to those that run the Corona twin pot calipers in their cars but pads from the M16 caliper Escort RS2000 are identical.

The only difference is in the size of the pin holes in the pads. The Escort ones have the hole in exactly the right place but they need drilling out to 7mm to take the Sumitomo pins. Other than that they are identical.

The big thing for me over here in the UK is that you have almost zero choice in pad material for a Sumitomo caliper. Once you talk about Escorts then every manufacturer does a full range of pads from street to full race!!

Having discovered this I have just fitted a set of Ferodo DS2500's to my TA22 and the brakes have been transformed!! Totally and utterly amazing. The feel from the pedal is fantastic compared to the Greenstuff I had been using.
It's mad a huge, huge difference to stopping the car.

Downside? A little squeal that comes and goes on light braking in traffic. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't but with brakes this good I don't care!

The Ferodo part number is FCP167H and if you need even more stopping power they do the DS3000 which is FCP168H.

I hope this helps.
