    Lightbulb OST meet&greet/show&shine/BBQ

    Hey all..
this idea is followed on from my failed Autosalon thread... I know we have some nice cars out there - time to show them off!

unfortunately I don't have time to organise a cruise at the moment - so a simple meet and greet is being planned so people can introduce themselves and point and poke at peoples latest mods.
I thought I would get this out of the way before the bad weather really hits us.. hopefully sunshine will be around by the time this event comes.

    When: Sunday 21 May, '06
    Where: Milne St jetty, Bayswater.
Follow Milne St to the end (you'll see the Swan river) - turn right into the car park.
    Time: 12noon
    Cost: FREE
Extra info: Bring meat and BBQ essentials for a cook up.

I thought this would be a good opportunity to get more exposure for the car club - so polish your cars, blacken those tyres and get ready to talk the talk about all things OST related..

    Cheers

yeah.. I thought Langley Park would be ideal.. I didn't know they had BBQ facilities.
hmm.. I may have to investigate that and query availability with the council. They may get us to pay some sort of bond thats all - to stop yahoo's cutting up on their grass.

Otherwise - I'm open to suggestions of large open carparks and BBQ facilities...

    not a bad suggestion.
I'll have to take a trip out there and scout the area and talk to some people about access to various area's.

    cheers

well as long as its not in bunbry... or MANDURAH and my cars up and running ill see ya there also, id rather meet at a point then chat then cruise around aimlessly wasting fuel so it sounds just what i want - just as well ya to busy to devise a map.... lancelin not a bad cruise providing no cameras along the way

    bunbury would be cool

got a person to catch up with down there

nah just playing, somewhere out in the sticks would be nice, some peice and quiet, not much unneeded cop attention etc.

lancelin, mandurah, bunbury, rockingham etc. etc. out of my comfort zone...

    my opinion...

u could always just go down to a local park.. who needs the city backdrop to take a decent photo of a car.. as long as that asian chick comes from that supra/soarer cruise from the city.. we wont be taking any pictures of cars
