Shame I couldn't hang around this morning, but hoping you guys are getting heaps of track time, and no more fog!
I'm sure i'll hear the stories tomorrow

The day cleared up early and was probably the best weather have ever seen at WP. Track could have done with a bit more temp but seemed ok.

hope someone brought down timing equipment. I've never hit the track before so unsure of what prep you'd need to do. Would need a track car though.
Thanks Garth for organising a great event I had alot of fun for my first time out can't wait for the next one :-)

has a date been set for the next one. I'd like to attend one of these events some day, am just lacking a track car. No way I'm tracking an auto on bags.

I hope not, a heater hose blew when i parked it in the pits...so hope it isn't anything too sinister.
No pics of the clubbie unfortunately

I'm going to hopefully have a track car by then. Plan was to drop an RB26 into my R32 GTS4 but the car is cursed -_-

I threw this video together quickly as im off to japan tomorrow and wanted to get it uploaded.. Not much footage but better than nothing.. Give it about half an hour and it will be processed properly and 1080P.
Do you have any of the black silvia?
We also had a great day. Lots of issues but always managed to get it back out there. I had taken a camera but didn't take any shots as I was either driving or fixing something.
Thanks so much to the owner of the silver Aristo ( I think your name was Dave) I had to ask around in the pits if anyone had some boost line as our waste gate feed kept melting and he donated some silicon hose which also had a stainless braid over it. Worked a charm!
Scariest moment was watching coolant spew out of our overflow, i really thought we'd cooked the engine but it turned out the thermofans had a bad earth and weren't turning on and a prolonged period waiting on the dummy grid had temps hitting 110degC.
Now the car is a bit more reliable, i can work on improving driver skill and hopefully lower times. My mate who has done many race meets at Wakefield was lapping at 1:14 a good 4-5 seconds quicker than me…
Thanks Garth, look forward to heading down again in the near future
Front brakes working okay? LOL
Time for some better front & rear dampers/springs
