    Default 2tg/3t into RA40?

So I found an 18rg, got it home, found out it was actually a 2tg. Now before I throw heaps of money into rebuilding it, how easy is it to put one into an RA40? I read somewhere that a ta23 crossmember is needed. Will a ta22 crossmember work? I already have pretty much everything needed, t50, 3t crank, extractors, dellortos, all for 300 all up. Thanks

Look up TA40, they were massed produced with 2t overseas.
Yes, you will need a TA23 cross member and no the TA22 is not wide enough.
    Good luck with your project
