I got my hands on a rear hatch that only had a bit of rust in it,,,..... I have been working on it all day.

I think it turned out pretty good .

    My old hatch..

    and my reco hatch...

I just painted it white.. just to get some cheap colour on it.. I'm eventually going to respray the whole car again..

Suspect you've already found it, but it is up, behind the passenger glovebox.

    Cheers

I got my hands on a Borg Warner T5..

The T5 gearbox I have is known as a "world class" T5

i'm seeing a gearbox specialist Saturday to talk about shortening the input shaft and reducing the size of the spigot end to suit the bell housing and spigot bearing.
The gearbox guy assures me he can do this , no worries..

I will get him to fresh the box up whilst it is apart too..

I have also organized my bell-housing, slave and spigot bearing thru RWD motor sport.. I'm just waiting for him to get back to me about the custom slave cylinder.. They have just made one to suit my set up.

I have also organized my wiring harness to be modified by my new wiring buddy . He lives in another state here in Australia (I'm in Sydney,he is in Melbourne..*Mexico* lool).

he knows his wiring and the ECU project back to front..

I'll remove my harness and post it to him.. he can set it up for me. I suck at wiring.

    Things are taking shape ...........
