You've gone about this the same way as you did on TOCAU - not bother to actually TELL us what you want to achieve. Since you haven't mentioned anything about track/drift etc of course people are still going to think you want to keep it a road-registered 7-seater (why else would you buy a Tarago in the first place?). It comes across as a classic school-holiday/"dreamer" thread.

If you don't bother to tell us your intentions, you have to expect that people will make assumptions.

No-ones trying to run you down, just save you money. I try to talk people out of things all the time cause I can't stand seeing them throw their money away on a project that has high likelihood of failure, or at the best bugger all resale value when done.

If you don't need 7 seats, then by all means go ahead and mid mount that fu$&er. Better yet, spend $1000 on a 1UZ and you'll at least have a possibility of resale later on down the track.

Since you were looking to repair you Tarago in the other thread I made the (fairly sensible ) assumption that you wanted to get a few more ponies under your family wagon... something I see as a bad idea (in TCR10s.. for the reasons mentioned above) .. but still tried to offer advice on that basis... Had you said, "I want an illegally modified, unengineered cheap shitter to burn wood ducks at the traffic light grand prix"... I might have offered some different advice... shouldn't have wasted my time at all it seems
