1uz-fe valve adjustment shims

Hey guys, I gotta do a valve adj on my 1uz-fe engine, I know the shims are expensive thru Toyota but is there anyone else that does them aftermarket? Has anyone on here done this procedure? Any handy tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks MICK.
