Re wire of electric window

Have just moved the electric window switch in my MA61 from the door to the console. The switch operates both driver and passenger windows. Had to do a little re wiring but was fairly straight forward. When I first connected everything all worked fine, until, I tidied up the wiring. Once I taped wires together so they weren't all untidy under the dash, the power to the drivers window is now very poor, i.e. with the car running it'll wind down slowly and wind up even slower. With the car not running it'll wind down slow and won't wind up. The passenger window doesn't work at all.

It's confused me somewhat.

Any ideas ?

Fixed. Traced to some previous bodgy wiring.
