hi lux diesel2.8 exchange motor reccomendations ,sydney

Hi , working in sydney and away from most of my tools,contacts and workshop ....
scored a 94 hi lux 4x4 with a stuffed motor ( yay !) diesel ( huh ? )
much as i would love to put a lexus v8 in its not the right time or place so im thinking of a straight swap for a recond exchange one
I have a crane and a place to work ( as long as the weather is good )
can any one reccomend a shop that does nice work ?
I have seen too many "rattle can rebuilds" cause too many headaches....

picked it up today , not as bad as i thought .....
may just be the tappets need some love ( yay ! )
3 L 2.8 litre
its shim adjustment
any one know where to get these ?
