I have searched the forum and have only found comparisons to CT12's fitted to 1G's.
I have a 1st gen water to air intercooled 1G-GTE sitting in a T-18
The compressor wheel on the rear turbo is quite badly chipped/damaged (think its the rear) from memory have 5 & 6 stamped on the inlet housing.
Does anyone know what the difference internally between the turbos i have and to those that would be fitted to the 2.0 2C-T powered lite-aces that also used the CT12 (i'm aware some also used CT20's as i have one that came off a 2C-T engine swap as well as also having a buggered CT12b from a 1kz-te from an engine swap).
I have found some cartridges to suit 2C-T CT12's that give reference to an oem part number that they replace, im not sure about using toyodiy for getting the part numbers right as im not sure what my engine came out of (think it was a gx70/71)
Just wondering if anyone would know if they would be compatible, if no,t im willing to spend the $220 for the chra ones i guess to get one and try it, would be nice to know if it worked though.
Also what can i boost it to, i have read some say no point going over 12-13 psi, some say 17-18, i was planning on getting 7mgte injectors and i have an old microtech, not sure if im going to use it yet though or get a haltech/wolf.
