    Default 4agze a/c delete

    hi all,
had a look through the threads , and cant seem to find anyone that has done a 4agze conversion on a ta28, i'm using the alternator (obviously) and power steering,
and dumping the a/c, trouble is the a/c pump is in between both of these, on the ae101, and the alt, and p/s run on different belts, was thinking of
    (a) move the alternator up to where the a/c pump was and modify the bottom of the bracket, and put a waterpump pulley (backwards) on to the p/s pulley to move it out , so the alt/, p/s crank, and idler pulley run on the same belt, just needs longer 4 rib belt,

    (b) make a complete new bracket to hold the p/s and alternator with both running off the same belt, (my preference)
if anyone has done this conversion , or can throw up a link that might help , i would appreciate it

On the AW11 the AC and alternator live on the same belt, so you might be able to find one of those brackets and modify it so the PS sits in place of the AC compressor? Alt is mounted high and AC low.

Pretty sure any GZE that came with power steering was mounted with its own belt. Ever thought about an EPS conversion so you don't need the PS pump at all?

cheers will have a look for an aw11 bracket ,ya the p/s runs off the inner pulley on the a/c pump, doing a few measurements on ae101 bracket to see if i can make a custom one, mate of mine has opel corsa electric steering in his ra25gt, but i have modified the ae86 power steering, rack and crossmember now and all the hardlines fitted, so gonna make this work somehow,
