which model celica? i'd love to help but without all the information it makes it hard
hey guys I bought a corolla a few months back and it came with a hopper stopper brake upgrade kit how ever it didn't bolt upto the factory struts. since then I have worked out that it suits celica struts. whats needed to fit celica struts in to my ke38 corolla? any info would be great cheers. it does't need to be engineered as its going to be in a drag car.

you will need to swap the strut top hats onto the celica struts, im not too sure about the bolt spacing on the bottom of the strut and the balljoint in the corolla, you may need to use ra28 steering arms and lower control arms, call your local parts store and see if the ball joints are the same, if they are then just use the celica steering arms if the bolt spacing is the same then I'm sure you can figure out what happens from there.
After typing all that i remembered that the celica uses a larger spring than the corolla so the complete strut may not even fit into the body. in this case you have 2 options,
1 remove the lower spring perch from your ke38 struts and weld it onto the celica strut.
or 2 buy coilover sleeves and fit those to the celica struts
I have ra60 celica struts and steering arms under my ke30 but they have coilover sleeves to make it fit aswell as camber tops and longer lcas to keep the camber correct.
Hopefully somebody else has done this before and may be able to chime in

thanks for the info. what lca did you use? ive got the lca off the ra28 but im pretty sure its the same length as the corolla one.

how far out did it bring the track out over standard?

I used the t3 lcas https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/a...s-ae86-corolla
the track is something ill have to measure but id say definitely yes as the wheels sit just inside the guards now whereas stock they tucked rather dramatically beforehand

I measured the front track at 1400mm thats with 14x7 0 offset wheels. The tyres measure 200mm wide they are 185/60/14 and between the wheels was 1200mm obviously outside measures 1600. they poke a little bit and if it was lower they would scrub but the guards would only need to be pumped about 10mm, not that that matters i have bolt on flares so when fit them i will cut the guards out and there will be heaps of room
