I was thinking maybe crockwell for the afternoon,

I've wanted to do thredbo in the summer for a while... What have you got planned??

or if we wanted to go local, cotter run with pub dinner...

I was going to suggest Threadbo too Stitty.
Cruise to Jindabyne, have lunch, go on thru Threadbo, go the loop past lake Eucumbene to Cooma, and back home. Its a full day, but they are some great roads and scenery. (except for the Canberra-cooma part )
It happens to be the route where I had the head on accident in my Corolla wagon last year, so I am keen to go back and conquer it, and make it home safely.

To be honest, I dont really have any interest in the Crookwell cruise... Why? There is nothng out there, roads are boring, boring scenery etc...... I personally would prob give it a miss, but thats just me
