    Smile 1ggte igniter/coil setup

Hey Guys im a newbie here....im also from Jamaica...got a questions for all the !GGTE guys...

I have a GX81 Cressida, with a 1G-FE...swapping to a 1GGTE...the problem lies that i got the AFM, ECU with the engine but as i realize by going through your threads the Coil/Igniter Assy i have gotten with the engine is incorrect....wondering if there is any other Assy that can be used or converted to use with the Engine...BTW is a Gen 3 Engine (Gray Plugs, Lime Green Injectors)

    Plz Help

From what I have seen the 7M GE (grey plug ECU Type) Coil/Igniter is the same.

Good news....thank you...i have a 89620-14440 106 igniter, did some research found out its used on the 7MGTE could this be used instead....parts for the 7M's and 1GGTE are not that popular in Jamaica

    Regards

You may have to rewire the plug but the 7m igniter should work fine.
