Hi , all first post so give me a break
i have a s2 mx83 and converted to a jzs171 1jz +auto. all is done apart from wiring and installing the thermos.
so basicallyim situated in Dubbo NSW and having alot of trouble finding anyone to wire this if there is anyone on here that can point me in the direction of someone out here of relatively close that would be able to wire this would be much appreciated , i havent attempted because wiring gives me more then just a headache .thanks in advance

thanks mate , im really trying to steer clear of actually taking the car down to sydney or anywhere just because of the hassel , as i do have peoplethat could do it down there im just really after someone out here so i dont have to travel . thanks a heap for the offer though
for 2 grand ill drive do you from qld hehehe
haha ud have to ride a bmx for it to be worth 2 grand lol
what do i need just to get it to start ? like what pins ect?
just download the wiring diagram and read thru it
or u can send me your looms and I can wire it up
its not a 5 minute job
the other big prick of a job is your ecu is in engine bay and Cressida is behind dash
so making it neat is a pain or you can extend the engine loom and fit ecu under dash
u need to power ecu
power coils
power injectors
and fuel pump
just run them all to a big switch like most on here do
and then the starter and alternator and it should start
I sent him the wiring diagrams for the JZS171
Here are the colours of the wires and their functions on my MX83 GRANDE loom plugs from 7MGE motor to underdash plugs
White plug
yellow with brown spots___________ speedo speed sensor

Jealousy is a curse
thanks guys , im more then likely just not seeinging it they way it is , ill take a break from it and go again
u need to make drawings of your plugs near the ecu
both for cressdia and 1jz
otherwise u will never understand
what madmont has described above is fine if u know what Toyota symbols mean and plug layout
if you do these day in day out but looking at diagrams is useless unless u know where the wire is
I did a jzs171 in a supra afew months ago
took me awhile cause I lengthend the loom so ecu sits under dash
I need to charge that much because I have to ask the wife to take a day off from our xmas holdays to drive to dubbo wire your car and drive back all in a day then 2 days after then drive back home to qld
Could be a problem finding room for the ECU box under the bonnet of the MX83
May have to relocate the battery as I did for my Hilux if ECU was left under bonnet
See picture to left. ECU is in bottom right of picture where battery used to be
Battery now where the air cleaner used to be with a Suzuki air cleaner behind it

yes I was lucky I had plugs and about a foot of wire on them from a vvti 1uz so u lengthened all wires
took half a day just to lengthen all wire properly but it looked much better
