last time it was going it was on LPG with a gas research carby and mallory ignition, tuners wouldnt give it full run cause it only had 50km on the motor, it also had a couple of issues, mainly to do with my assembly work, but it was a learning curve, made in the vicinity of 200hp at the tyres, and would have made more once properly tuned but I twisted the chassis and pulled it off the road. that was at 13 pound through an rb20 turbo.

    Cheers

a GTX3076 should be capable of 400rwkw+...... rona is making north of 350kw at all four wheels in his caldina with that turbo.

if you are chasing 300rwkw with a bit of headroom, a GTX3071R will do the job. last time i checked the compressor maps, they only started to run out of puff at the 350rwkw mark

At the end of the day.. all the information you seek is available on the Garrett website. Go look them up and then you will know for sure what is the most suitable turbo to suit your goals.

    I've got a GT3582r (aka gt3540, GT35) on my 205, full boost (so 23 psi) is at 3800 and makes 300kw atw a bit before 7000rpm.
Should go fine on a 1g, but a gtx3076 would be my choice, better and newer designed wheels than the old GT series.
    Hopefully 1g's aren't like rb20's, they can't spin a toy fan.

Mine always spooled OK, comes down to manifold design and getting the heat differential across the turbo to make it spin...
