    Too big, go for a GTX3076;
    It will make more power at less boost than that eBay looking thing you have

    Gearbox is w58 ATM till I find r154 :s yeah the turbo is some Ching Chong Chinese turbo thingy it's all good it was free I am open for recommendation want a good turbo that can yank up my power on low boost. I'd like to hit 250 or 300rwks it would be wonderful. I'll be pulling the motor out again after the event down here so can put some forgies and bore the oil gallery etc etc..

    GT3540's???
    I absolutely love em!
    Dunno how they'd go on a one-g but they are awesome as a pair on a built 350 cube V8.

    I dunno how much boost those cheap turbos could safely push either if your going big power spend the extra and buy a reliable turbo

    Just my thought's but I don't know why some people run Big turbo's especially on smallish capacity motors, great power up top but Shit down low & where can you really use the top end rush on the road ( obviously a different story on a track car etc ) & also with the lag you end up having less grunt down low than something like a Hyundai excel ( bit embarrasing in my eyes )

    all the goodies but you said the bottom end oil galleries havnt been done? and standard pistons/rods (which isnt an issue, but obviously not all the goodies?)
    have you got cams in it? head work?

    for those suggesting GTX3076, what power figures are achievable from that and from where to where?

    done head work down like the last post I said earlier I'll be pulling it apart again for bottom end work after the event down here. Well I can't beat 6boost 1g but I'll try to be as close as I can on power. 230rwks its pretty good for a 1g I mean that's a lot of power already for a Hilux if I can get more I well. The sound that it makes it's so amazing!!

    They are popular on SR20's, 4G63's, 1JZ and RB20/25's;
    I know on a 1JZ they will support 350rwkw sorta power flat chat

    Thats promising, I am chasing 300rwkw through a smaller drivetrain in the corolla with the stroked 1g. should make it I think.
    jerjerous, how much was 6boost making by the end? It was a fuckload more than 300rwkw, i have 700 at the engine in my head, but may be wrong...
