I have done it a few times. JZA70 torsen will fit using a spacer .JZA80 will not fit
I have read a lot around the Torsen being put into the Hilux housing but with maching required, my questions are:
Will a JZA70 Torsen fit a g series housing?
Will a JZA80. Torsen fit. G series housing?
Is there somewhere in Brisbane some diff joint or person has done this mod?

Jealousy is a curse
I may be a month late but for others info the easiest way to fit a Torsen LSD into your Hilux (or Hilux rear axle that you've fitted to whatever) is a trip to the wreckers and get the rear diff from a 2008 on KUN26 Hilux. They have a Torsen LSD as stock and if memory serves correct the ratio is 3.65:1
His. 2005 GRJ120 Prado VX
Hers. 1995 KZN130 Surf (soon to be replaced by a Rav4)
1981 LN40 Hilux Trayback ute. Now an RN40 with Surf interior
1992 Factory Widebody 2door Surf 1UZ-FE V8 Auto, now for sale
3.55 ratio
They are actually 3.58 but I dont know of anyone who has used it witht he Torsen in the Gseries housing, the pinion bearing is a different ID.
