Can't really give you a yes/no answer and I've been warned about regurgitating information, but this is what I've found on my own research using 20v headers for the AW11, which AFAIK is identical oil filter location, including sandwich plate as AE92.
From my research, the 20v headers clear the engine and oil filter no issues, the only fitment issue is the outer two bolts are placed differently between 16v and 20v; they are further out on the 20v, but you can drill a hole on one side and grind a slot on the other side for them to line up with the 16v bolt holes. The 20v headers give better flow than even GZE headers apparently. A chap in the states makes 20v exhaust conversion parts so you can either use your 16v AW11 exhaust with a 20v, or use 20v headers on a 16v engine.

That flattened section looks horrible to me. I would be buying a 20v secondary flange and getting an exhaust shop to make me a new secondary, or just ask the shop to chop that bit out and give you a new section.
