    Default 3SGE Cluster Wiring

I want to put a BEAMS in my '85 Celica and I have seen that people have had trouble with using their original dash. What are the issues with using the original dash and would it be worth/easier paying $150 for a Altezza Cluster and using that?
    Cheers

I'd try using a tacho booster first.

    search is your friend.

    http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tec...o-booster.html
converts 5v square to voltage peaks suitable for older tachos

other things, oil pressure - have to take the sender from the old motor if you want the gauge to work as beams just have on/off electronic
speed sensor - you'll need to switch the gear from the new to the old and keep the mechanical link, then make sure you wire the spd from the cluster into the ecu

other things should be pretty much fine
