Hey guys, as the title says, I have a UZS131 Crown, and the front left corner sinks over the period of a couple of days and rights itself when running. Not a huge drama I know, but I don't want it to strand me somewhere. Now it doesn't seem to bottom itself out, just goes down, is that likely to be a fault with the bag, or a valve? I have very very limited knowledge of how the airbags work.
Which brings me to my second point. I have a complete GS131 Crown in my back yard I bought for $300, which is spring. A quick visual inspection tells me they won't swap straight over as the front upper control arm and ball joint are completely different. But my question is, with an entire parts car can it be done, or are the chassis mounting points different?
Some might say leave it, but my Crown has a worse ride quality than my R32, which has a whole catalog of track orientated suspension modifications. So I'm guessing the shockers within the airbags are gone.
Thirdly, I can get a front left airbag out of a MS137 Crown quite easily, would it be the same as a UZS131 Crown?
Cheers guys.
PS. Not really put off of buying new bags, just don't want to push s**t up hill with dodgey valves/electronics if thats the issue.
