Ok, so since I know my jzx90 box also has a loom then I can assume that they are interchangeable. Thanks +1![]()
Bot on, But thats besides the point. Because what you will have to do is change the extension housing over because the JZZ30 box uses a different mount.

The only thing you may have problems with is if the JZX90 box is the new type with 6 solinoides and not the Type with 3 solinoides that the JZX81/JZZ30/JZA70 have

nope, definitely 3 solenoids.
are Uzz30 boxes stronger and interchangable? They can withstand a lot of power and are designed to carry a big beast so they might be ideal to swap. Just a thought. I think same applies to 1jzz30, but they might not be designed for more low end torque, which is the case with your cressida.
Stock vs stock I highly doubt there is much difference.

As far as i know the UZ Torque Converter wont bolt up with the 1J flex plate, and the 1J Torque Converter wont fit on the box becuase of a different number of splines on the input shaft. Also the output shaft on the box is a different number of splines

Output shaft will be identical.
Can't comment on the input side of things though.

though a little bit of looking, it looks like a UZ gearbox has a yoke on the output of the gearbox, and not a slip-yoke like a mx83 cressida

I am researching whether TIV is suitable over DXIII( recommended for A340). I know TIV makes the tranny smoother and good, but I think it also wears our boxes somehow that they don't last long after TIV flush. Because TIV is not meant for these boxes. It is a long debate but just curious to know, if the auto box is flushed with TIV or not.Originally Posted by Endless
Yes, some of the V8 boxes have the 3pronged output, Celsior and Soarer to be exact.Originally Posted by Hibba
But all the slipyoke auto's are the same.
