Bit cheaper to buy and when you pop the bonnet they look a lot better.
For your power goals, the only thing that would come close would be a 20v blacktop and even then, 95rwkw is all you will get.
Not really after big power, if I can get 130-140hpatw that would be enough, just after a modern engine and still slightly old school look in this car, not familiar at the moment with all the 4age's that is around,16v, 20v big port or small port, which one would suit my old school look and power goal? Thank you for your help in advance.

You will be needing a gearbox as well ~ cheap T50 here ~ Quinns rocks - this bloke may also point you in the right direction for an engine as well

ok so my power goal is too high, I was thinking the 16 valve looks a lot more old school with quad than the 20v, which one is the better motor for NA? big port or small port?
Both are good;
Smallports have a different intake manifold and have higher compression pistons.
Oh, I have a 20v silvertop for sale you can have cheap...

If your leaving it stock, grab the smallport as they made slighly more power from the factory (100kw vs 86kw?)
