I chucked an entry in , pulled the old girl out of mothballs . But I only have an old set of street tyres with legal tread , so reckon times will be crap , but fun factor should be high. Forcast is now for rain developing , so a slip --- sliding we will go !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like they're being super anal about noise. Lots of dsqs on the board.
Also well done Todd C with consistent 46s!

The vk sounded a lot louder than 87? Ad there where a couple of cars on slicks there that I noticed? Or are those rules for competition vs not competition if there even is that.

Slicks should still have treadwear indicators.

Ahh all good, so just has to be like a legal amount of tread per say.

Hmm. Would have been a perfect day to keep racing. A 47.97 on 2nd run. But it doesn't count as I pinged the sound meter...

Doesn't change the fact that I finally cracked into the 47s - very bloody happy with that. Now if I can just do it and not ping the sound meter...

Very happy with the new R888s. The 225s up front are perfect. Could maybe do with a 235 at the back, but the 225s did the job ok. Pressures seem to be critical...

Went home early after pinging sound meter twice - figured I might as well get stuck into doing some more on the kids cubby house.

Had a great day also. Finally got into the 52's (on street tyres even).

Anyone get any shots of my mates white evo? He managed consistent 47s only second time doing hill climb.

Any photos of the non-Toyota during it's brief outing Bob?

Looking forward to the October event when the sound levels are more generous (using 2 noise credits so I think that is 95db) so I won't have to worry about being disqualified.

Now I just need to work out how I'm going to get back from Rally of the Bay in time for the hillclimb. Why is there always clashes with motorsport events?
