Hope to have the Sprinter's back together in time ??????? But new tyre depth ruling will mean street tyres ---- may be a case of slip sliding away !!!!!

I bet you have an 8-track player in the dash that can roll off Paul Simon classics as you slide around the track too Bob

Ill need to source tyres before then to. Prob street tyres also. I have 14's but no 15's. Side pipe out the passenger side might work. Seemed to work for the vk's last meeting.

I was thinking of giving the van a run..... Then realised that there is no way it would pass the sound test..... A straight thru exhaust with blast pipes isn't the best for muffling sound......

I thought the van was "legally" registered this time?

    My entry is in.

Rear muffler is out to be repacked with Rockwool - hopefully stop me from pinging the sound meter.

Half cage will have to wait - raided the funds to buy some tyres. Would love to have got DZ03Gs or A050s - but got R888s. So I'll be a little slower, but able to do more events.

Good choice Tod , the DZ03Gs wear out real quick , under the tread wear ruling you would be lucky to get 3 or 4 events out of them , even my Sprinter was getting only 3 events out of softs last year . Not real good wear for a N/A 1600cc . Besides who wants grip anyhow --- streeters and hang the tail I say . OPPS did I say that ----delete , delete ------

Are you saying they only last 3 or 4 HILLCLIMB events bob? So that's a total of less than 20 minutes running time? That's sh1thouse hey! I think i'd cry if I could only get that many events at a proper circuit, let alone on the little goat track

Unless I was a drifter...... then i'd be saying they last 4 times too long

Well I am out, I have half the running gear from the sprinter in the KE70 unless I want to run it with the 4k. Should be organised enough to get at least one run in later this year though.
