Talking about master cylinder?
I don't think u would get a Camry booster in to the celica, the factory one should be good, just rekit it and fit a one way valve, with the Camry master cylinder
Hey guys,
I am sourcing parts for my brakes/coilover install.
Just wondering if there is much a difference between leaving it stock or upgrading it to the Mitsubishi Pajero MC or a 2003-2006 Camry MC.
I can get the sizing for you too if that helps. All options are direct bolt in just not sure which I need if I were to do a hilux 4 pot or corona 2 pot upgrade.
Cheers
Tony

Yeah I meant the master cylinder, my bad.
How would i go about rekiting it and fitting the one way valve?
I've got the a camry MC bolted to the stock booster in my 22. Can't remember what year camry it was though. I'll see if I have it written down.

That is if its fucked that it,
Take it to a brake shop that does this Type of work, they will fit a new rubber diaphragm to it and clean it out, they will be able to supply a valve to, you just fit that in the line, other wise a backfire through the intake will blow the diaphragm
If you look at the. 2nd and third pic you can see it, follow the line to the intake
This post is full of the good stuff

Actually the one way valve is there, so if the motor stalls you still have boosted brakes for a couple of applications also if you are hard on the throttle & just come off as you hit the brakes again you will still have vacuum in the booster etc ...
In answer to the original question - you will definitely need to upgrade your master cylinder if you are going to be running the bigger calipers
You will end up with a mushy pedal other wise, that no amount of bleeding will fix.
Sorry, misread as asking about ra23, not 22.

A70 Cyl wont bolt on as its 4 bolt not 2.
Cheers Brett.
I ended up picking up a pajero master cylinder and I've pulled out my brake booster for a quick clean and a lick of paint.
