Default Jzx100 power FC auto issues

    Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone has a jzx100 auto running the power FC. If so would anyone be able to supply me with the settings for the auto within the power Fc. Mine is very slow on gear changes and feels terrible. Kick back is bad. I have spoken with MV Autos who were helpful but having looked for what he mentioned I can't work it out still.

No idea what flex lock up is or full lock up. Not sure where the shift points both up and down need to be. No idea what the wide and narrow band is.

    Any help would be great.

No, but I've dealt with a few owners of JZX100 auto PowerFCs.

Getting the hardware coms to work was a challenge for one guy from 10,000 km away, heh.

    Thanks for the reply mate.
Mv Autos has said I need to turn the convertor lock up off in second and third gear leaving it on in 4th only. Also have to change the shifting hrtz from 50 up to either 100 or 200.
Just not sure how to do that.

Will have a look at the settings compared to what you just posted.

    Thanks again.

    Settings I posted is default.

    Here's another screenshot:

I really dont know much about automatics.

If you were in Perth, I'd have a play around with it. But apart from that, I dont know.

I've tuned 3 different automatics cars (non-PowerFC) - toyota supra 2jz vvti, nissan stagea vq25 and nissan r34 rb25 - but I didnt have to play around with the automatic control - just ignition retarding on gear change.

"Flex lock-up function: This mechanism distributes transmission of mechanical and hydraulic pressure derived motive power in accordance with driving conditions, in particular raising transmission efficiency at low speeds and thus contributing to an improvement in fuel efficiency"

    100% default.

In order to get "SLT duty" (0-100), divide "Setting" by 17.50

But apart from that, I dont know.

Yeah that is the default setting that came on the ecu. We have only just been able to access the settings after upgrading to a new version of FC datalogit.

Silly question but what is SLT Duty?

SLT - line pressure control solenoid
SLS - shift pressure control solenoid

So according to the official graphs, lockup does not occur until 55-65kph and more(?) than 7-10% throttle?
