Brendan should be better than 50/50... unless i missed something. Will be there tomorrow helping get it sorted / prodding him to finish it
ed: What time @ brooks rd again?
Yeah I'll be at brooks rd meet at this stage.

Lets say 8:30 but realistically call it 9:15?
and then by the time Garth gets there 9:45?![]()
Fuck me this car is scary, should have a set of AE86 steering arms this week so the slightly better brakes will be nice as will the stiffer front springs.
so, does anyone have 2 exhaust hanger rings to lend (read: sell) to me? Supra shat 2 of them last track day (I'm guessing after making an acquaintance with a ripple strip), and I'm not keen on driving to and paying the large $ repco seems to want.
Also, those who offered to ship some wheels down for me: where do you live? I've got 2 sets to drop off in the next few days
I'm in Camden, can probably fit a set in the back of the ute?
Which reminds me, need to pay Vito a visit this week lol
camden is nearly closer to wakefield than I am ... and you have lots of weird shit going down there (eg: people strangling other people in McDonalds)
Nothing wrong with a bit of a late night strangle session at maccas, are you trying to imply that we are all murdering rednecks?
Well we are, so fuck off and deal with it![]()
i am in north parra greg, but will be in randwick tomorrow night for board meeting, i could come round after that and see if they fit in the 86?
Hi...
Garth, want me to deposit you some money or throw you cash on the day? If your bank details are the same as they have been for the last few years I can send it whenever.

Well this has stirred up a bit in the last few days; the thread is quiet but there's been a few last minute additions. I've updated the list but it's looking like a busier day than it did even last week. Think the other guys have got a bit of a last minute rush of confirmations too. Weather's looking like holding well too, sunny, light winds and a top of 17!Pretty good for Goulburn in winter - just ignore the low of 0...
My car is all sorted and back together as of last night too! Haven't driven it, but idled and revved for a bit. Plan on taking it for fuel and a leg stretch tonight around packing, will see how that goes but got new oil lines on the cooler, additional protection in a couple of spots and have added a couple of small touches/bling.
The other development (and reason for the test drive tonight) is that i had a minor incident on saturday... came off the mountain bike a little hard so i'm a bit beat up; mashed the shoulder a bit and think i might have cracked a couple of ribs, as well as bonus knocks, bruises, cuts etc. Decided fairly quickly i hadn't broken the ribs, and thought i'd give it a day or two to see if they improved. Answer is no.I can do some stuff, and it varies through the day as well, but i struggled driving the RX around yesterday arvo, and doing all the work on my car over the last few days has had it's moments. So i'll make sure i can actually drive the rolla (made sure the power steering is back on) and i'll be right to still come down, but i'm not sure just how much time i'll be spending on the track as i've struggled with walking down stairs, clearing my throat, getting in/out of bed, on/off the couch, (out from) under the car, etc etc...

that sounds ... painful. 9/10 for commitment though.
jesus Garth. Well if you want someone to punt the rolla around, i'm always keen on doing sessions![]()
Garth: Damn
Have fun guys. I know I'm going to be looking forward to the wide open spaces of Wakefield & slowness of my Excel next time after getting a EUR70K E46 M3 (with an insurance excess of half its value) to 90 degrees to the tarmac on the Nurburgring at 180+ and managing not to hit anything...
