ITB Trumpet Filters

Spotted these the other day. I like the idea of what looks like a proper internal air filter inside of the trumpet. Keeps the naked trumpet look without those ugly socks and should filter better then those screens that only stop birds from being sucked into the engine.

Anyone know if these are available anywhere?

they are just for show .would disturb the air coming into the trumpet
better off getting a airbox made around the ram tubes

I think the Naked trumpet look was what was more enticing about these

I like trumpets but only when there is nothing covering them, Sock filters look ugly.

The Ramflo ones aren't too bad mate, they're still socks but at least they're nice looking ones, and you can colour code them too.
The other option is to go on ebay and have a look at those filters that sort of clip on the front of the ram tube flange- like a mesh cap.

Yes true but sometimes its not all about outright power. I do have an airbox made to cover the itb's but sometimes one has to show off what hides under that box. Thought this would be the best way of doing that.

well with open ram tubes sucking in dirt and grime motor would need rebuild every year if it lasts that long
in the old days of group c touring cars motors were rebuilt after every 1000 kays because of this
.also doent take much for it to suck in a stone
