Default 1UZ > W58 Conversion bellhousing clutch slave

    Hi guys

I brought a 1UZ to W58 conversion bellhousing and am trying to locate a slave cylinder for it, it has a 28mm bolt spacing on the bellhousing and doesn't have any markings of the brand. Anybody have a similiar bellhousing, what slave are you using?

    Cheers

Most aftermarket bellhousings are for Hilux or Celica slave cylinders.

The Hilux one bolted up to my CRS bell housing and cleared the block without needing to make modifications. I can dig up the PBR part number if you need it?

Actually, my car is in the shop getting the MRP hydraulic release bearing fitted at the moment. If the OP wants (and is local) you're welcome to have my old slave cylinder. PM me if you're interested?

Sorry for the long delay! Hope you got it sorted.

For the record, the part number is JB4154 and it looks like this:

post up a pic of your bellhousing and we'll soon tell you what brand it is.

The Dellow and CRS housings are one in the same and for some reason use a Landcruiser slave but they seem to forget which model and if you buy the whole kit the slave that they supply doesn't fit anyway as the holes don't line up.

If you have the KSracing bellhousing from ebay with R/H slave you use a V6 4runner slave and for L/H slave is LN106 Hilux, both of these use the stock Toyota clutch fork and pivot ball but keep in mind you need to cut 35mm off of the clutch slave pedestool and countersink one bellhousing bolt for everything to fit. Combine this with an Xtreme performance flywheel, R32 Skyline (or D40 Navarra) pressure plate, 80 series Landcruiser 10 inch clutch disc and release bearing and not only will you get a heavy duty clutch but as near as dammit to a factory feel and operation as you will ever get behind a 1UZ.

Andy that looks suspiciously like a Hilux Slave cylinder

Yep, I'm pretty sure it's a Hilux one! It's identical to the 'custom' slave cylinder CRS were offering for $120. I paid $15 iirc. lol
