Smile Lexus IS 200/ Toyota Altezza AS200 - Performance

    Hello

I would like to get more power in my Lexus IS 200 with 1G-FE engine. Of course turbo or compressor... i know But I want to try some other way to tune up this car. I thinking about put intake manifold from 2jz, but I`m not sure about compatibility, so is there anyone how can help me with it, because I don`t want to buy this manifold, and then i don`t fit.... And if it will fits good, what I can reach after this mod. I saw on YouTube Lexus with exhaust manifold from IS 300, so I thought I can try in other way.

And last. What is the difference between GE and FE cylinder head. And how to make GE from FE ?

    Best regards, Matthew

Sorry, If I did some mistakes

    2JZ manifold on 1G head?
even if it does fit, i'm not sure there would be any benefit?

the IS300 has 2JZ motor already, not 1G motor.

would you consider changing the whole engine?
could use 1JZ, 2JZ or 1UZ motors, (JZ with turbo, UZ without would be easier)

could also use Altezza motor (3S-GE), as that would be much closer to a bolt in package. still 2L and not a huge jump in performance compare to the 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ-GTE or 1UZ-FE
    (your english is ok )

FE = narrow valve angle, GE= wide valve angle. You can't make an FE into a GE, you just swap the whole head over.

Don't waste time and/or money on the 1g-xx engine.

Do some searching and reading on is200/altezza engine conversions - there are quite a few getting around.. my pick would be either 1uzfe or 1jz vvti.
