sw20 clutch return problems

Hi all have had a issue with the new mr2 its a 92 turbo, and every now and then when the clutch pedal is depressed it jams at the floor. now it is never losing its pressure it always stays very firm and i can still change gears with no problem, and no leaks in the system either. What i think the problem is coming from is the clutch return mech above the pedal (white slider with 2 springs on either side) or the clutch clevis is giving to much free play in it.
My questions is has anyone had these issues before and what would i do to go about fixing it
