    Default XT130 corona 18rg conversion

    Hi all,

Own a 1981 xt130 corona sedan and looking to ditch the starfire engine for something with a little more power. Have been looking at an 18R-GR as a potential conversion as I have always loved this motor. The liftback models came with the 18R-C engines in which the 18R-GR should bolt straight up to...(?)..however unsure as to how easily this could be done in the starfire sedan...? Has anyone done this conversion before? Alternatively any other recommended carby conversions for this car? The car is more of a hobby than anything, not looking to take to the track or drift it, just a weekend cruise sort of thing..

    Thanks

Read my build thread in the members rides section. Buying a complete RT132 as a donor car is a good idea.
