the grinding marks are a bit coarse, but no big deal, they will wear in. just make sure that the is a .5mm step between the wear face & where the cover plate bolts

Hey everyone I have a flywheel off a 4efte and it seems to have strange machining marks on it. If you run your finger nail across it you can feel the grinding marks very slightly. Is this normal or usable? Ill be running a full faced clutch on it and no more than 100-150hp atw.

I'd use it. But it may accelerate your clutch wear, especially for the first half of its life.

Thanks heaps guys. Will throw it in and run it. Even if it wears more the clutches are only 100 bucks for these motors anyways
P.s I measured the step with the end of my verniers at .64mm
