I think the toe has been somewhat 'dynamic' for a little while now, that's the problem. Last alignment was reasonably mild on the toe i think, the rears were 0 i think, fronts weren't much.
how much toe do you have on the front wheels?

With only 12 cars on track at any given time, how many laps can you do? If you do twenty will the management get upset?
Are there rules on where to pass or do you leave it to the drivers to be courteous with each other?

I know I probably push the number of laps sometimes. But if I've been out for a while and don't notice anyone lining up, then I'll stay out. If I do notice people, then I'll come in.
As for passing, a little bit of A & a little bit of B. Just keep an eye on the mirror (I know I have to ... :-p).
I got annoyed at an MX5 last time that was holding me up in the corners, and was only a smidgen faster (!!) down the straights, but never pulled over.
If there are people lined up then its recommended to keep the number of laps to 5-6 but if its quiet (and at times it normally is) feel free to go for broke.
Overtaking, unless directed by the car, only on the straights. Most people will wave you though kinda thing however
OK, so pretty easy going day. I'm interested, but need a little time to confirm.

its really easy going steve. and because most people's cars shit themselves by lunchtime, you usually have the track mostly to yourself in the afternoon.
ive not done any other trackday that gives you as much track time as these ones. and the guys are all real easy going and not douchebags, unlike some other groups that organise trackdays.....
Well, it looks like a great day to test your car without waiting for the session then missing it.
My car has historically been a total pain in the neck when it comes to being 'ready' with work always happening at the track instead of actually setting the car up.
I will confirm soon.
Cheers

The biggest day I had down there I put over 200 kms on he car which is what, 80 laps give or take. So plenty of track time.
Sounds similar to the MR2 challenge as far as track time and easy going management (me!).
Are there many trailer ponies at this event?

It's Official My RA28 Time attack car will be unveiled on the 10 of may.
As been a huge slog, working every weekend on it for the past 8-10 months.
Car has been tuned and and wheel alignment done,
Finishing off a few aero parts and ready to see what sort of number we get down there
oh great, another car I'm going to have to watch my rear view mirrors for
At least half, if not more, of the cars come down on trailers. It's a track down, not a show'n'shine, so there's no stigma attached

Got any plans for your holiday?
I know my mates view it as a perfect time for a turbo conversion lol
Yep, already have many plans afoot. Mostly involving some front suspension rebuilding. Oh and a quaife quick rack.
