Default sumitomo twin pot caliper question.

I have been offered a set of twin piston sumitomo calipers for my rt132 strut into TA22 conversion but wanted to use vented ra60/65 vented rotors. can you buy anywhere a conversion to space caliper halves apart to fit over vented rotor? I know it not toyota, but you could buy a kit for ford Escorts to fit over vented capri rotors and was curious if similar item is available for sumitmo calipers.

    Thanks for help in advance.

I have read on here where people have done just that but I am sure the spacers were custom made and not off the shelf.

For the life of me I can't find any reference!

Thanks for your reply. i thought that may be the case but you don't know if you don't ask. I have a engineer with cnc machine near work who should be able to make something to do the job.

It can be done but its not cost effective, the machining of said spacers would cost more than buying better calipers. Even if you did it yourself with access to a machineshop its easier just to get the LN106 four pot calipers. They are better anyway being that they have much bigger pad surface area
