    Default Mx73 Coilovers into Ra65

Hey guys. As they don't make coilovers for ra65's i got told mx73 are virtually the same..

Is this the case? Basically i want to know If the stub axles are the same, the geometry is the same (camber etc) and if the celica knuckle will bolt up?

If the knuckle wont bolt up, Will the mx73 knuckle fit the celica balljoint and tre's?

Any info anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated!

And before it's mentioned i don't want to go sleeve kit on factory struts.. I can get BC's for $600 which are base adjust and damp adj so it's not worth it..

    Cheers!

King pin is on the wrong angle.

MX73 struts are identical to MA61.

Search for MA61 vs RA65 differences, its covered quite well on Toymods.

King pin angle doesnt matter because you weld fronts in anyway. Usually cut the struts about 40-50mm up from the ball joint.

What does welding have to do with the king pin angle?

You use the stub axle from the RA65. So yes. They will work fine.

If not and they use the mx73 stub axles, from memory it will give you positive 2 camber, but you can just use the camber tops to get rid of that or longer lca. The steering arms will fit no problem.

I don't really want to change lca's as i'm over track substantially as it is, And camber tops won't wipe off enough of it get it to where i want..

So i think my only option is to buy ae86 ones without a stub axle, and have the Celica stub axle welded on

that could be potentially an epic fail.

The potential is there, but luckily i'm not doing it. I'll be sending it somewhere. I reckon they'll need to be degassed first..

There's not really any other option..

Out of curiousity, have you got a photo of the BC kit for MX73?
Every photo I've seen online is for 'illustration purposes only' and wouldn't suit the MX73
