Hey mate, on mine I used Haltech ones. They were well priced and easy to mount. Have had them running for a few years now with no problem at all.
Cheers

Hi,
Can anyone suggest an appropriate twin coil pack set up for a 3T GTE running a microtech system?
Can I use packs from a Commodore? Eg VS, VT etc...I'm in the process of getting rid of the stock dizzy and using a crank angle sensor etc instead.
Cheers,
Simon

Perhaps try using something along the lines of a subaru impreza liberty one, this is what we use on our Autronic powered car.

Joel,
Have you got the details for the coils you have? Did you get them through a Haltec dealer?
Cheers,
Simon
Simon, you could use VP onwards coil packs - there are two terminals underneathe them which give it +12v/-12v
MSD make a replacement coil pack which is supposed to be really good as a replacement i think the last time i checked they were $72 each.
This is the one which Joel was talkign about im pretty sure:

I havnt heard about the VP one, but i have heard of people using Hyundai Excel/Accent/something else packs. You should be able to get more info on the Hyundai setup on rotary forums, since it was a rotary shop who told me about it.
I actually got mine direct from the Haltech office in Syd. But yeah, other resellers around.
I got 2x quad coil packs.
Cheers
Joel
OK, thanks guys
Later Hyundai Exel's have twin coil packs and are supposed to be pretty cheap from wreckers.
Just another option.

Hi,
Used Bosch coils (twin fire, waste spark) on my LTX8 powered Starion. Hope this helps.
Thomas.
