fkn, wont make it to this one, but it's for a good cause! Next trackday the faildub will be there, and it will have twinplate, big brakes, cage, full slicks, datalogger and 2000CC injectors
Welcome to our first track day for 2013.
Hopefully we'll see some new changes and developments on some familiar cars, and maybe a few new cars too. Either way i'm sure it'll be a great day, as usual.
Slight increase in the track fees cost, but it's only $5. Cost is $200 per car, still awesome value for the amount of track time you get.
We run a limited number of cars so you pay per car and can cycle as many drivers through one car as you like, it's open track all day with 12 on circuit and a one in one out basis. I currently have at least 15 spots reserved for Toymodders, and can usually grab a couple more if we fill these up quick enough.
All the usual info, thursday and friday nights at the Pelican station next to the track, bring CAMS or valid driver's licence, helmet, neck/wrist/ankle length clothing, sleeping bag, pillow and beverages if staying (accom is about $40/night depending on numbers).
No official timing means cheaper insurance (and therefore track time) and passengers are allowed for 'driver training purposes', but feel free to organise your own. This situation has changed a couple of times in previous years due to some erratic behaviour but we haven't had an issue in a while. We're fine with passengers but it's a little dependant on Sam's mood and general people's behaviour on the day. We've had no issues at all in the last several days from what i remember. If people are acting like dicks or fooling around though we're likely to get it pulled and each time it gets harder to get it back.
So, when you commit to coming, i will PM bank details to transfer to (incl for accomodation to book spots), then when i see the coin ($200 + $40/night) i will add you to this...

Was hoping to have a new car for this, but it seem no one wants to buy modification parts for an Excel
Might be time to put the bigger engine in. Now I've got a deadline.
I'm in, cant pay for a a few good weeks though.
Will stay Thursday and probably Friday depending on numbers

Hoping to make this one...
Current ride/s:
2007 Kawasaki Z750 (Daily rider)
1990 Toyota SX Seca 4AGTE "4AGE" - SOLD
1999 Subaru WRX
Will pencil this one in. Now that the track car is officially up and running I will have to make some use of it.
I'm in. Also hoping to get a Golf R and a few other fun cars along.
yep im in again, going to try and get a couple of mates who are also keen to join in the fun.
N/A for life...
... need ... to get ... car ... running ...
... seriously ...
Bloke at work is interested, hasn't driven his car on a track for 6 months since moving down from Qld.
Got 4 RE55S semi's this time around
So, only 4 weeks to go! I need to pull several of my fingers out, or my car won't be making it. Too much time being taken up with house/landscaping jobs and family commitments. I'm rapidly approaching the point where there isn't even enough time to pay people to do it for me, but i'm an eternal optimist so you never know... and if not i'll just bum drives off as many of you as i can.
Who else is looking like making it, and when can i expect coin to start appearing from those who've said they're definitely in?

Yeah I cant pay until a week before kinda thing, got lots of shit to do car wise but I can pay a deposit if you need commitment?
1. Get rear tie rod
2. Send throttle cable off to be fixed
3. Get front tension rod bracket
4. Spend a few hours on the laptop tuning, WOT is pretty sweet so maybe its not that critical, its got lots of fuel and timing so yeah
5. Get semi slicks mounted to wheels
6. Paint spare wheels some stupid color (bright orange me thinking)
7. Wheel alignment
8. Mount seat on Sparco side brackets
9. Re-mount fire extinguisher
10. Tidy up anything which could cause fail or fire
11. Full inspection of running gear
12. Lower the car another 15mm
I'm in. Definitely going to need some stress relief. The house renos & trying to also move house are doing my head in.
Unfortunately, the house renos are alos doing my wallet in, so I'm just being a bit more careful with the fundage lately.
Give me another 2 weeks & I'll be able to throw the cost your way.
Was about to de-dirtspec my car, but realised 1st round of the motorkhana series is on 24 Feb.
Awesome, bringing the Hundai?
Yes, the mobile orange chicane will be out. Bit annoyed the sale of the good bits fell through, and hence prevented me from getting a better car
