    Default 4agze head bolts

    Hi all

I am freshing up my ae101 map 4agze and I am finding it hard to locate some new head bolts. Dont want to go down the ARP side as its a stock motor, but I found that my head bolts are all the same length but the new ones I can find for the 4age are 2 different lengths.

any idea were I can buy them or will the 2 different lengths off the 4age fit the 4agze?

    cheers

All 16V engines(n/a or s/c) should have 5 long, and 5 short bolts.... anything different is wrong

16v 4AGE bolts fit the GZE. The 5x intake side is shorter than the 5x exhaust side.

    Part numbers are:
    90910-02120 - Intake side
    90910-02121 - Exhaust side
    90201-10344 - Washers (You'll need 10x of these)

This is exactly what I bought for my bigport GZE and I've confirmed the new bolt sizes are identical to the old bolt sizes.

There is also a new torquing method with these bolts. You torque them up (in the same order as described in the BGB) to 60Nm, then turn each of them in the same order by 180 degrees over two passes (turn each 90 degrees in order, then another 90 degrees).
