Has anyone here done this?

from what i can tell the jzs147 runs the ABS unit as part of the brake master cylinder
it also runs 4 wheel sensors for the ABS

the JZA80 runs a simple brake master cylinder and a separate ABS module
it also runs 4 wheel sensors for the ABS

So i understand that new lines will need to be made from ABS to BMC and from ABS to the wheels

so a few questions

1. would it be legal to do this in qld assuming after the conversion the ABS will still work
2. does the ABS wiring in both vehicles go to its own ecu and is it a single system that isnt integrated into any other looms (ie. is it easy to remove the whole wiring loom for ABS or is it intertwined in other wiring looms)
3. Does the ABS work by just getting power and ground to the ecu and then it gets signals from the 4 wheel sensors and if detecting a lockup it will send signals to the ABS unit to relieve pressure and release brakes to stop skidding? and then a single wire from the unit to the dash warning light...
4. is it better to have hardlines made up or would getting braided lines suffice?
5. Anything else i havent considered?

I do realise this is probably more work than its worth but i have a mate who has had nothing but issues with the whole nitrogen brake booster on the aristo so he just wants it gone...
