With that fork setup, it will only suit a W5x series box. The R154 type has 2 removable windows at the bottom and the slave mounts from the rear of the bell housing.
Do you know if it bolts up to a 1/2JZ engine though?
Hey guys, I've got this bell housing here that uses a push type slave setup, does anyone know what it's off? It's supposedly a 1J/R154 item but I can't find any evidence of a push type bell housing for the 154 ever existing?
Cheers

Thanks for the reply, yeah the slave mounts on the side are consistent with a push bell housing, that's what confuses me
By eye it looks damn close to JZ pattern and the box end like R154, starter location looks spot on too. I actually have a 1J here but it's bolted up to an engine stand being worked on, I could pull it off to confirm but I was hoping someone might be able to save me the trouble
If its an aftermarket bellhousing (Dellow and the like) then its possible to be a JZ with push, as they didn't make aftermarket ones to suit pull clutches.

Just had a look at the photo's on my phone.
I remember those vents at the top of the bellhousing being on the R15x to 3RZ bellhousing. Maybe its one of those?

leathal was mentioning the other day of a hilux bell that most the bolt holes line up to jz i think it was the two bottom holes that are different .
just an idea anyway seems consistent with what cruzida said about 3rz
did you confirm if this fits a jz engine??
Hilux bellhousing;
They use R series boxes
I agree with dneg as this does look very much like a Hilux bell housing, but looking at the starter mounting and bolt position it is not from a diesel one. I suspect that it is from a TGN16 Hilux (2006 on) which are a very good source of RWD R series gear boxes having the R150 as stock fitment http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_G_200...MDKQ_3302.html
