I'd just get my legs shortened or get it converted to topless if i had to. But i'm no giant so i'd probably get away with being squashed in. Either way it wouldn't take the smile off my face.

I went to the Sydney Motor Show and saw the 2000GT on display. If you google 2000GT there is some information about them and restoration in the US & Japan.

Yeah I have seen a couple of web pages about the 2000gt "restorations" that are done in Japan. They even do the aluminium panelbeating.... I am impressed
Will try to find them but if someone has them then please post here.

Style wise the Karmann is up there I reckon...pedigree and mech spec yeah I agree. Both could house some awesome modern underpinnings as kits cars and go like stink while looking classy too

Does anyone know Alex in Vic? and have a scanner?
He has some 2000GT material which I would like to get an electronic copy of but he has no scanner. If someone lived nearby with a scanner perhaps they might be able to help out?
